- Angels We Have Heard on High (Josh Wilson)
- Away in a Manger (Casting Crowns)
- Breath of Heaven (Amy Grant)
- Do You Hear What I Hear? (Carrie Underwood); Whitney Houston’s version is powerful, obviously.
- Go Tell it on the Mountain (Needtobreathe)
- God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (Children Love to Sing)
- Hark, the Herald Angels Sing! (Amy Grant)
- Here with Us (Joy Williams )
- How Many Kings (Downhere); This live-sounding version has scenes from “The Passion of the Christ.” This song ministers to me all year-round.
- Joy to the World
- Little Drummer Boy (Bob Seger, I think??) We sang this last night and I explained that there was not likely a drummer boy at the manger :). But I love how this song is about bringing whatever gift you have to Jesus.
- Mary, Did You Know? (Pentatonix)
- O Come All Ye Faithful (Martina McBride); Nat King Cole’s version reminds me of my dad, who had a serious record collection and played this album at Christmastime.
- O Come, O Come Emmanuel (BarlowGirl)
- O Holy Night (Children Love to Sing); No singing along with Mariah Carey’s version!
- O, Little Town of Bethlehem
- Silent Night; Hearing The Temptations sing this makes me smile.
- The First Noel (Lady Antebellum)
- We Three Kings (Cedarmont Kids)
- What Child is This? (Third Day); Vanessa Williams’s jazz rendition is one my favorite things about Christmas.
